Categories
One vocabulary, shared with event.clinic
Procurevent does not keep its own category list. It sources in the same vocabulary event.clinic uses to describe venues, spaces and products — so a published product is already filed under the category a buyer would source it in.
Why there is no Procurevent taxonomy
The same data is used on both sides. A supplier describes what they do, a buyer describes what they need, and a product carries the category it belongs to. If those three were expressed in different vocabularies, something would have to translate between them — and a translation layer is a thing that drifts quietly while every page still renders.
So there is one list. It is maintained upstream in event.clinic, and Procurevent reads it when this site is built. What Procurevent adds is wording: a handful of the upstream names are internal shorthand, and this site shows a plainer label for them.
